Spain Portugal and Greece are not signatures of resolution 40 , but do accept the ICC .

Who can get an ICC from the RYA ? The RYA is authorised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to issue the ICC, on behalf of the UK Government, to qualifying individuals. Applicants for the UK ICC issued by the RYA must be eligible to be issued the certificate and must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills. If you are resident in a country that has accepted resolution 40 , you must apply for your ICC from your own country list here : Spain , Portugal , Greece , Italy , France , are not signatures of UNEC Resolution 40 , but they do accept ICC´s for personal boating . if you are a National of a country that has not accepted resolution 40 , you can apply for a UK ICC from the RYA . Providing you are : Over 16 years old , have passed a recognised RYA practical boating course that allows one 🙂
